Google is gifting them a lighter version of Android 13 that aims to offer a fast Android experience. Meet the Android 13 Go Edition, the next big update for several entry-level smartphones with very low RAM capacity.
For 250 million users of low-end smartphone using Android Go devices, the Android 13 update brings some key changes to enhance the experience. However, there is a little chance your device manufacturer may release the Android 13 Go update on your device, considering entry-level phones don't get new OS updates. Google itself says that new Android 13 Go devices will come out in 2023.
For Android 13 Go devices, users can expect to see the latest software updates via the Google Play updates. This will allows users to get all the crucial system updates outside of the major Android OS releases. Hence, those critical security patches should reach users easily.
