Although the next era of graphics card technology is looming ahead, team red and team green are eager to squeeze out as much from this generation as they can. Nvidia has just released its powerful RTX 3090 Ti, a card that's as wide as it is expensive. So it's only natural that the company's biggest rival would want to get some of its own products out there while it can, and it seems as though three new ones are on the way.
According to a recent report from Videocardz, rumors about some AMD refresh cards from its RX 6000 range have now been confirmed, with an expected release date of May 10. The soon-to-be-released RX 6950 XT will be accompanied by the 6750 XT and 6650 XT, with images showing that they will come in the Midnight Black Edition design. The information comes from Disclosuzen, a trusted source with a good track record.

This latest development is different to the recent speculations about new AMD RX graphics cards on the horizon, which specifically spoke about the 6400. However, this new report says that the rumored RX 6400 is supposed to launch on the same day as the three refresh cards, suggesting that AMD is keen to get much more life out of its RDNA 2 architecture before the industry moves on. At the time of writing, there are no officially confirmed details about the specs of the new GPUs, but it can be expected that they will have higher clock speeds at the very least.
