When it comes to gaming on Xbox, the premiere controller is the Xbox Elite Controller Series. Microsoft released the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 for Xbox consoles back in 2019, with gamers getting a variety of special features in exchange for a hefty $180 price tag. To date, the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 has only been available in black, but it seems that might be changing in the very near future.
While its existence has previously leaked online, it seems the white version of the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 is going to release as early as next month. According to a since-deleted Amazon listing that was spotted by Tom Warren of The Verge, the white Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will apparently launch on Wednesday, September 21. Xbox has not announced the controller in an official capacity, so fans should take the listing with a grain of salt, but it seems legitimate. Presumably, the white version of the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will be functionally the same as the black version with the same price tag, but those details have not been revealed just yet.
