Final Fantasy 16isn’t even out yet, but the MidJourney AI program has already figured out what Final Fantasy 17 might look like. Though the mainline Final Fantasy series currently has 15 games, the series has become famous for each sequel possessing a different story and style. Final Fantasy continues this sequel tradition with FF16 despite its atmosphere paying direct homage to earlier titles in the series.
Since debuting in 1987, each Final Fantasy game has introduced players to new worlds populated with remarkable characters like Cloud, Lightning, Squall, and Noctis. Final Fantasy has also made legends of its various developers, such as directors Hironobu Sakaguchi and Yoshinori Kitase, musical composers Yoko Shimomura and Nobuo Uematsu, and artists Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshitaka Amano. All these names helped to bring to life the world and atmosphere of their particular entries, with each providing Final Fantasy fans a new experience in visuals, music, and culture. Even the upcoming Final Fantasy 16 will be distinct, as it's the first Final Fantasy setting not featuring American voices.
