Mohamed Abdelhamed and Yve Arellano’s 90 Day Fiancé season 9 relationship has made fans wonder why the Egyptian man fell in love with the single mom in the first place. 48-year-old Yve from Albuquerque was in a relationship for close to eight years, and engaged. until she realized that she and her ex were very different people. They had different attitudes about looking after their child, Tharan, who has special needs. A licensed acupuncturist, Yve separated from her ex eight years ago, and was then approached by a 25-year-old man from Alexandria on DM. Yve was taken aback by Mohamed’s six-pack, and even wondered if she was being catfished by the “Egyptian God.”

By that point in time, Yve had promised to give up a lot in order to align with Mohamed’s beliefs. She stopped eating pork, only drank on special occasions, and got rid of the revealing clothes in her wardrobe. However, Mohamed still didn’t approve of her outfits. “I’m not going to marry a woman wearing a bikini anymore,” Mohamed once said in an episode, claiming he would fly back to Egypt before the 90 days ended if Yve continued to dress like her friends.
