New 90 Day Fiancé star Patrick Mendes' before and after weight loss pictures have left many fans surprised. He recently debuted on the popular show with his fiancée Thaís Ramone and six other couples, including Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre. Patrick is a 31-year-old former athlete who was once considered one of the strongest people in the United States. During his time as a weightlifter, he competed at the Pan Am Games and World Championships. He eventually started training for the Olympics, but in 2021, he was suspended for two years for using Human Growth Hormone (HGH).
Patrick decided to make a comeback after the two-year suspension. But unfortunately, he again tested positive for dimethyl testosterone, a kind of drug banned by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) in the field of sports. After Patrick's weightlifting career and the first marriage ended, he met Thaís in Brazil. At the time, he was trying to reconnect with his father's family in the country and looking for a Portuguese teacher. The couple started dating, and after several trips to Brazil, Patrick finally popped the question, and the 25-year-old reality star Thaís said yes to his marriage proposal.

Patrick has moved on from his past as a weightlifter, but one of his throwback pictures has now surfaced on social media.
