Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member David Murphey has fueled dating rumors with another TLC reality TV star via his odd Instagram posts. Fans remember retired computer programmer David from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3, where he was a part of a supposed catfish drama. David was in an online relationship with a woman called Lana from Ukraine for seven years and had never met her in person or even spoken on the phone. On the show, David finally met Lana after multiple attempts and even got engaged to her. But something was still fishy about David and Lana’s relationship, which ultimately didn't last long.

Since the show ended, fans kept wondering if David and Lana were still together, or if it was a faked storyline cooked up for the cameras. Lana continued to use the dating website on which he had met her. David was 60 years old and Lana was 29, but he had apparently chatted with her for over 5,000 hours. Lana took to Instagram in 2021 and claimed that her engagement with David was just for the show. Lana shocked 90 Day Fiancé fans by revealing she actually worked in law enforcement and also wrote in perfect English on Instagram. As per Lana, her story with David was 90-percent scripted. Even her ghosting David was an idea of the show.

While David and Lana’s relationship is still a puzzle, he does seem to have moved on as per fans who follow David’s Instagram.
