TMZ reported that Caroline survived an alleged murder attempt by her boyfriend after witnesses say he tried to strangle and drown her. According to reports from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers, witnesses told police Caroline and Cole got into a heated argument on a boat during a getaway on Sunday, April 24, in West Palm Beach, Florida. People at the scene told police Caroline tried to get away from Cole, who grabbed her aggressively and kept her on board while she struggled to break free from his hold. The struggle went on for over 20 minutes. When the actress finally broke free, she fled the boat into the surrounding water.
