When the news broke that 90 Day Fiancé star Alina Kozhevnikova is allegedly getting fired for her racist comments, Amira Lollysa shared that she has no tolerance for racism. Alina was popular among fans when she first debuted in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 5. However, viewers found out that Alina made racially insensitive comments in past social media posts and had also used the N-word several times. Even after Alina issued an apology, which many did not believe to be sincere, fans found even more comments made by the reality TV star.
TLC has fired cast members for similar issues before. Before The 90 Days season 4 star Lisa Hamme was let go for calling her partner Usman «Sojaboy» Umar the N-word during the Tell-All. Because of this, it seemed clear to viewers that Alina should be fired as well. Alina's roommate Elijah attempted to defend her on social media, as did her online boyfriend, Caleb Greenwood. However, fans thought Alina herself didn't seem to show much remorse, and many were relieved when the news broke that TLC had fired Alina and was working to cut her segments out of future episodes.

On the day that fans found out TLC was allegedly firing Alina, Amira took to Twitter to announce that she "condemns racism to the highest point." The 90 Day Fiancé season 8 star added that she will not "stay silent any longer" on the issue and that she will "never forget." Although some fans in the comments asked the French-Egyptian cast member if she was in fact referring to Alina, Amira did not clarify whom she was referring to, but many of her followers inferred that she was talking about Alina.
