is a fantastic game, but there are some harsh realities when replaying it after completing all the routes. One of the best aspects of is that it has a high level of replayability with four different routes and a couple of different difficulty mode options.
However, playing the game after completing all the routes to experience the full game once more isn't quite the same experience. Replaying brings to life some realizations, especially when revisiting it after playing. feels more like a game than and while in many ways that was a good thing for as one of the best strategy games for the Nintendo Switch, it often wasn't in the long run.

The two previous mainline games both had avatars as their main protagonists. These characters, Robin and Corrin, were completely customizable. Yet they also played a pivotal role in the story and had their own unique personalities.
Byleth, on the other hand, goes a much different route. They weren't customizable at all aside from choosing their gender and name. Byleth then lacked any personality whatsoever and no dialogue at all except when in combat. This made Byleth feel very dry and caused many key scenes in the game to lose their impact. It also made many conversations with Byleth feel incredibly awkward and embarrassing.
The stories following the best protagonists in Crimson Flower and Azure Moon are both impressive. However, Silver Snow and Verdant Wind lack the same charm that the previous two held. In fact, Verdant Wind merely feels like a poor copy of Silver Snow.
