Seinfeld Actress Liz Sheridan Dies At 93
Liz Sheridan, who played Jerry's mother Helen on the classic long-running sitcom Seinfeld, has passed away at the age of 93. The actress was born Elizabeth Ann Sheridan in Rye, New York on April 10, 1929, the daughter of a singer and a pianist. Her performing career initially began far away from Hollywood when she began working on the stage in nightclubs as a singer and dancer, eventually graduating to Broadway when she was in her 40s. She appeared in a variety of musicals and plays in the late '70s, including Happy End, in which she co-starred with Meryl Streep and upcoming Back to the Futurestar Christopher Lloyd.
