Star Wars is making George Lucas' original Revenge of the Jedi plans canon. The first draft of Return of the Jedi was actually called "Revenge of the Jedi," and featured a very different plot with the Empire constructing not one but two Death Stars over the moon of Had Abbadon — envisioned as the Imperial capital and the seat of the Emperor's power. In this version, when Luke finally confronted the Emperor, he had unexpected help conveyed through the Force Ghosts – a feature that the saga is reincorporating.
