Marvel's GOTG Almost Had 'Fat Drax,' Human-Sized Rocket
While the cosmic action game is faithful to the source material, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy had bizarre character concepts like a human-sized Rocket Raccoon and a «fat» version of Drax. Eidos-Montreal's sci-fi adventure delivered unique versions of Marvel's outer space outlaws that were both authentic and original. Eidos-Montreal apparently chose Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy due to the team's underdog status, but major departures from Marvel Comics lore were apparently considered early in development.
