Stephen King is a legendary writer who’s tackled every type of publishing medium you can think of. The “King of Horror” has written novels, short stories and novellas, screenplays, comics, essays, and more.
This Halloween, the American author has decided to release his first written animated short film which you can now watch for free.
Back in 1968, Stephen King published his short story “Here There Be Tygers” in Ubris magazine before being part of the Skeleton Crew collection in 1985.
As a special Halloween treat, Dark Corners Films has released King’s short story as an animated film adaptation called Lily.
Back in 2019, Night Frizz Productions came up with a female live-action short film of King’s “Here There Be Tygers.” However, this is the first animated version of the short horror story and King’s debut writing for animation.
