Warner Bros. has shared the first clip from Bong Joon Ho‘s highly-anticipated sci-fi comedy movie, starring The Batman’s Robert Pattinson.
It is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on March 7, 2025. “The unlikely hero, Mickey Barnes has found himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job… to die, for a living,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
Check out the Mickey 17 clip below (watch more trailers): The video features Pattinson playing two different clones, with the first one expressing his hatred towards the other by trying to kill him.
This also teases the strange dynamic between the two versions of Mickey Barnes. The cast includes Robert Pattinson (The Batman), Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice), Steven Yeun (Beef, Minari), Toni Collette (Hereditary), Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Endgame, Poor Things), Holliday Grainger (The Capture), Anamaria Vartolomei (Happening), Thomas Turgoose (This Is England), and more.
Mickey 17 is directed by Bong Joon Ho (Parasite, Memories of Murder) from a screenplay written by Bong and Edward Ashton, based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton.
