Is Stardew Valley 1.6 Finally Fixed On Nintendo Switch?

The 1.6 update was released on the Nintendo Switch in November 2024, after releasing for PC users back in March. The 1.6 update was highly anticipated by players eager for new content and features.

The major update brought with it a new farm layout, new festivals and events, new crops, fish, and resources, and much more game-changing content.

Unfortunately, as exciting as the 1.6 Nintendo Switch update was, it was met with disappointment instead of delight. While the update brought a slew of fresh and exciting new content, it also brought some game-breaking issues that affected performance and overshadowed the excitement of the latest content.

Players have reported several issues with many important game features since the update launched on Switch. While some problems have been minor inconveniences,others have rendered certain game features unplayable.

Features like using bombs in local co-op, interacting with the Junimo chest, divorcing a spouse, and a second player entering through a split-screen coop have caused the game to crash unexpectedly.

Genshin Impact maker will pay a $20 million fine to settle FTC charges that allege they misled players about lootbox odds

Genshin Impact's developers have agreed to pay a $20 million (around £16.4m) fine to settle charges brought by the US Federal Trade Commission. The FTC allege that HoYoverse "unfairly marketed loot boxes to children that obscured real costs and misled all players about the odds of obtaining prizes." HoYoverse will also be banned from selling lootboxes to children under 16 without parental consent.
