Ghost Of Yōtei: Release Window, Platforms, Story Details & New Setting

Of the many exciting announcements from Sony's State of Play on Tuesday, one of the most intriguing has to be Sucker Punch's follow-up to the beloved Sucker Punch original, .

While few details have been released, the trailer showcases some promising new additions to the original gameplay and gives players a glimpse at the new «Ghost» at the center of story, Atsu.

The trailer, which was revealed during the State of Play in September, also previews the beautiful new setting for, the mountainous area around Mount Yōtei in the heart of Ezo, Japan (modern-day Hokkaido).

While is sure to deliver the same engaging storytelling experience and visually dynamic gameplay as its predecessor, it is set nearly 300 years after the events of and will not be a direct continuation of Jin Sakai's story.

Based on the State of Play announcement, it's clear that will be released in 2025, but the exact time of year it will be released is not evident.
