The Game Awards saw the reveal of a host of new and exciting upcoming video game releases, and it's very possible you may have overlooked this title starring Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey, who both appeared on-stage to announce the game.
Produced by AdHoc Studio, is an action-adventure game where you'll play as Robert Robertson, a superhero also known as Mecha Man. Unfortunately, his mech suit is destroyed in battle, and Robertson is recruited by another superhero who promises to make an improved version of it. Making ends meet, Robertson finds himself working as a dispatcher at a superhero dispatch center, instead of a superhero at a superhero agency.
The official Uncut trailer released by AdHoc Studio (via YouTube) after TGA highlights more of what players can expect when releases sometime in 2025. Combining dark humor with a setting not unlike a mash-up of and a Marvel-like superhero universe, gameplay appears to revolve around a choice-based narrative with management sim elements. The trailer, above, shows Robertson faced with a choice when speaking with a co-worker, but we also see some of the top-down gameplay styles typical of management sim games.
