Since the ever-expanding Fortnite introduced its trio of new experiences, we’ve not heard LEGO Fortnite mentioned much. The mode has been steadily expanding, however, with new gameplay mechanics, features, and improvements rolled out in a kind of “live service” style. This week it’ll get its biggest expansion yet: Lost Isles, an entire new environment packed with possibilities.
You’ll be able to visit the fresh map by hitching a ride from any Battle Bus station in your existing island. Once you arrive you’ll find a diverse ecosystem made up of five different biomes. These areas, teased in the trailer above, will bring with them new gameplay possibilities – as well as tons of new recipes and resources.

The creature-like Klombos are arguably the biggest addition; these beasts can be tamed and ridden like a steed, as glimpsed in the video. The new area will be accompanied by a LEGO Pass, which allows you to unlock themed kits and skins for 1,400 V-Bucks. Don’t worry, though, there’ll be a free reward track for those of you who don’t want to cough up.
Aside from the new update, Epic Games is also flogging a bunch of Marvel-themed packs for LEGO Fortnite, including the Daily Bugle and Peter Parker’s apartment. All of this content will be available from 17th September, so there’s never been a better time to return to your LEGO Fortnite island and enjoy some fun in the sun.

But it’s just a grind fest.
Will say one thing Lego seems to know where to put itself over the years.
I played this for a few hours over a few days when it first released. It's just Minecraft. Ok it's Minecraft w/ Lego. I mean sure it's nice to be able to play
