Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel continues its smashing success, as Konami has announced that the game has hit 10 million downloads across all platforms. To celebrate, you'll be able to get 1000 gems just by logging in.
The game stealth-launched last month, and more than half of those downloads have been in the last week. It was only just over a week ago that it hit the four million downloads milestone.

On Twitter, Konami confirmed that if you log in to Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel between now and March 31, 2022, you will be rewarded with 1000 gems. That enough to buy ten booster packs (giving you access to those all-important Secret Packs), or at least one of pretty much any cosmetic in the game. It's also enough to purchase the Gold Duel Pass, giving you even more rewards just by playing.
This massive bump in downloads was likely largely in part due to the mobile versions, which were finally rolled out globally in the last week. At the time of Konami announcing four million downloads, it had only just begun to release the Android and iOS versions in select regions, but now it's available for download almost everywhere.
It's incredible how quickly Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has taken off. While nostalgia for the franchise is a likely driver for this hype, and it is an incredibly faithful recreation of the card game in a way other games like Duel Links weren't, it's worth mentioning that many fans of other TCGs have also taken to it for a number of reasons. The single-player mode is something few other games like it offers, with a full story mode going into the various archetypes found in the game.
