Young Sheldon Season 6 Image Shows Meemaw's Fate After Shock Arrest
A new Young Sheldon season 6 image reveals Meemaw's fate after she was arrested in the season 5 cliffhanger finale. CBS' premier comedy will continue Sheldon and the Coopers' story for at least two more years. This gives them enough time to develop each character as Young Sheldon shifts to be an ensemble show, rather than simply focusing on the boy genius and his adventures.
Young Sheldon has always given some focus on the rest of the cast but they remain supporting characters to Sheldon. In season 5, however, The Big Bang Theory prequel has noticeably featured more of the Coopers as they deal with their respective issues. This includes Meemaw, as she gets her own arc dating Dale and grows closer to Georgie, who is now helping her run her laundromat/gambling den business. This partnership, however, has landed them in jail in the Young Sheldon season 5 finale after they attempted to smuggle cigarettes at the border.

The series left their fate unknown going into its mandatory break, but now, it finally reveals what happens to Meemaw, at least. Taking it to her official Instagram account, Annie Potts shares an image of her back on set for Young Sheldon season 6. In the snaps, she is seen all dolled up as Meemaw while lounging at the Coopers'. Check out the photos below:

With barely any context, it's difficult to decipher what's going on in the scene that Potts is filming. It doesn't seem like there's any other actor on set, so perhaps it's a solo-sequence, although she recently shared an image with Raegan Revord revealing Meemaw and Missy's Young Sheldon
