The Xiaomi 12 Pro, the latest upcoming flagship from Xiaomi, faces tough competition from recently launched smartphones like Galaxy S22 series, iQOO 9 series, OnePlus 10 Pro and Realme GT2 Pro. Although not as powerful as the Mi 11 Ultra, which launched last year, the Xiaomi 12 Pro still brings very high-end specifications, according to India Today.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch 1440p LTPO E5 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1500nits. The device is powered by the Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS3.1 storage.
In terms of camera, the Xiaomi 12 Pro gets a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 707 sensor with f/1.9 aperture, 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle with 115-degree field-of-view, and another 50-megapixel portrait sensor. The primary Sony IMX 707 sensor is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization. The front camera is a 32-megapixel camera.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 4,600mAh battery with a fast-charging support of 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone also has support for 10W reverse charging.
Xiaomi 12 Pro will be launching on April 27. The smartphone was launched in China with a price tag of 4,699 Yuan, which is roughly Rs. 55,500. Xiaomi is expected to competitively price the device in India as well. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is expected to be priced between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 70,000. Since we still don’t have an official confirmation, we might have to wait for the April 27 launch to confirm.
