Thursday, February 17 marks yet another big day for the Xbox Game Pass subscription program, as Microsoft has added two more games to the lineup. But while most Xbox Game Pass games are available through the vanilla version of the subscription service, the two games added on February 17 are only available to PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
The two games added on February 17 are Madden NFL 22 and Total War: Warhammer 3, the latter of which is a day one game. Madden NFL 22 has been added to Xbox Game Pass through EA Play, itself only available to those who pay for the pricier Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription or who have PC Game Pass. Madden NFL 22 had some major technical problems at the time of its release, but Madden is consistently one of the biggest new game releases every year, so its addition to the lineup is still noteworthy.

Total War: Warhammer 3, meanwhile, has earned rave reviews from critics, with many hailing it as yet another great entry in the strategy game franchise. Total War: Warhammer 3 is a PC exclusive game, hence why it's only available through PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. Regardless, it's one of the highest-rated games of 2022 so far, and so it's definitely a big «get» for Game Pass.
