Microsoft adds new games to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service regularly, but it also removes games from the lineup as well. April 2022 is no exception, with Microsoft having recently confirmed the new Xbox Game Pass games coming this month, while also revealing what games will be getting removed. Microsoft has confirmed six games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass in April, with most of them being pulled on Friday, April 15.
Microsoft has announced that MLB The Show 21, Rain On Your Parade, The Long Dark, and Pathway are all being removed from the Xbox Game Pass lineup come April 15. Out of these, the highest profile is easily MLB The Show 21, as it was the first time an MLB The Show game released on an Xbox console, and it also did so as a day one Xbox Game Pass game. Not to mention MLB The Show 21 was published by PlayStation, Xbox's chief competitor in the console gaming space.

Shortly after those four games are removed on April 15, Microsoft will be removing another game come Monday, April 18. Microsoft usually only removes Xbox Game Pass games on the 15th and last day of each month, but an exception is being made for F1 2019. Racing game fans have until April 18 to check it out through their Game Pass subscription.
And while it wasn't a part of Microsoft's latest announcement, it was previously confirmed that Destiny 2 is leaving PC Game Pass on April 11. Destiny 2, Beyond Light, and the expansions preceding it were added to both PC Game Pass and regular Game Pass some time ago, though the console version was removed late last year. Now the PC version is following suit, though it's unclear why Microsoft didn't mention it alongside the other games
