Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the May 16 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw and haven't been seen or heard from since, and a recent report indicates that the company may be trying to mend this relationship. Banks and Naomi were women's tag-team champions at the time, but were stripped of those titles and suspended following the walk out. A tournament was announced to crown new women's tag champions, but fans haven't heard anything about that possibility for several weeks now.
As for why they decided to leave, Banks and Naomi were apparently unhappy with how the women's tag-team division was being handled by WWE. They had been booked in the main event of the Raw that they walked out on, but were going to be given seperate directions for one-on-one feuds. Naomi would have gone on to face Bianca Belair at Hell In A Cell, based on what is known about the booking for that show, where she likely would have lost. Meanwhile, Banks was reportedly being posistioned to face Ronda Rousey, a feud she likely would have lost as well.

Creative has had nothing for them since then, and neither Banks or Naomi have spoken publically about the incident. WWE buried the now former tag-team champions following their walk out, but haven't mentioned them over the last several weeks. Now, Raj Giri is reporting that WWE may be trying to mend the fence with Banks. He tweeted the following from his @TheRajGiri handle: "Here's what I know about Sasha Banks. She was released on June 10th and it came from Erika Schreiber, VP of Business and Legal Affairs for Talent Relations. As for why WWE has not said anything or removed her, the rumor is that leadership is trying to smooth things over."
