SummerSlam is just over a week away for WWE, but by the sound of things, it isn't particularly happy with how the card has shaped up. The Biggest Party Of The Summer is regarded as one of the company's big four premium live events. It's not entirely on the same level as WrestleMania, but it's an important show that always has significant ramifications for ongoing storylines and feuds.
Injuries to the likes of Cody Rhodes probably didn't help matters, but WWE has still had several weeks' worth of television shows to piece together a lineup that it is happy with. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are headlining the event in a last-man-standing match, Logan Paul will mix it up with The Miz, and Pat McAfee will wrestle for the first time since WrestleMania 38, but apparently, some within the company are unhappy with how the event looks right now.

According to @WrestleVotes on Twitter, a group of folks inside WWE doesn't like the SummerSlam bill. The tweet reads: «In the most WWE of ways, I had a source tell me this morning 'they really don’t like the SummerSlam card' 'They' being the people who put it together.»
WrestleVotes has a pretty strong track record, and it is pretty humorous that those who put the SummerSlam card together don't like the SummerSlam card. WWE has booked itself into a handful of corners leading up to the show. For starters, it is still struggling to figure out how to handle Reigns as an undisputed champion. They put both major men's championships on the line to make WrestleMania 38 feel like a huge deal, but the bout between Reigns and Lesnar underdelivered.
