Celebrities invading the world of professional wrestling is nothing new, with names like Muhammad Ali, Hugh Jackman, Mike Tyson, and Bad Bunny all stepping into the ring at some point. However, they have been less common in wrestling video games as only a few, including Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, can say they got to make the jump into the gaming world. This is about to change as with the newest WWE 2K22 DLC pack, Logan Paul and Machine Gun Kelly will be joining the game's already massive roster along with five names from WWE's past and present.
WWE 2K22 is the latest game from WWE's long-running partnership with 2K Games and developer Visual Concepts and is the first entry since 2019's much maligned WWE 2K19. The game saw the return of a general manager mode in the form of MyGM, along with changes to the game's showcase, career, and universe modes. As for the roster, it featured one of the biggest launch rosters in a WWE game with over 160 wrestlers, many of who left or were released from WWE before the game's release, which has only grown with subsequent DLC packs.

The latest DLC pack, titled The Whole Dam Pack, features the second and third celebrity additions to the game after Mr. T's addition in one of the previous packs. As mentioned above, Logan Paul and Machine Gun Kelly are the latest celebrity roster members joining the game alongside Rob Van Dam, LA Knight, Sarray, Xia Li, and Commander Azeez.
