Tiger Lily is a herb introduced to the Herbalism profession in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King that can be found in multiple regions of Northrend. This is a key herb used for many alchemy recipes we will cover, and can also be milled by players with the new Inscription profession also introduced in WotLK.
You can find Tiger Lily in Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, Grizzly Hills, and Sholazar Basin. Grizzly Hills and Sholazar Basin are our recommended regions if you want to focus specifically on Tiger Lily. It is most abundant and very well populated in these regions, and they are also easy to traverse. We will show Tiger Lily farming routes for all four zones.
Grizzly Hills is one of the two best farming zones for Tiger Lily. Follow the Orange Route for the most efficient farm, hitting a ton of potential spawn points. If you find yourself needing to kill more time before respawns, add in the grey route to hit the other nodes.
Sholazar Basin is the other of the two best Tiger Lily farming regions. You will find a ton near the water in the center of the region, as well as some other spawn points scattered throughout the southern region.
There is only one suggested route here at Howling Fjord for Tiger Lily. Is it not the most efficient as it is a large zone, with a lot of space in between spawn points.
Borean Tundra only has a small amount of Tiger Lillies circling the center of the map. This is why it is our least favorite area, as you will be done gathering them much too quickly to keep a continuous route.
Tiger Lily is used in the recipe of only 5 Alchemy crafts listed below, mostly Elixirs. You can also check out our full WotLK Alchemy Guide here. You can hover over the item name to see the ingredients to make each
