A World of Warcraft fan has recreated all of Wrath of the Lich King Classic using Unreal Engine 5. This incredible work of art shows off what World of Warcraft sequel could look like while maintaining its iconic artstyle.
Redditor Majusbeh, also known as Pixels Please, is a German World of Warcraft fan who is known for his extensive series of lore videos. Over the summer, Majusbeh decided to dabble in Unreal Engine 5, which led him to undertake this impressiveWorld of Warcraft project.

Three months later, Majusbeh has a fully-functional rendition of Azeroth as it appears in Wrath of the Lich King. Every zone of Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, and Northrend is represented in this version of World of Warcraft. In the short video showcase, Majusbeh shows off several areas, such as Stormwind and the Howling Fjord, before actually running around the Barrens in a brief gameplay video. The stunning graphics include dynamic lighting, volumetric fog, and cloth and hair physics among other modern graphical updates.
Rather than rebuilding the game from the ground up as many Unreal Engine 5 remakes do, Majusbeh pulled assets from World of Warcraft Classic to make the recreation of Azeroth. This makes Majusbeh’s project look and feel more like Warcraft than many other fan remasters. Majusbeh’s version of World of Warcraft looks just like what many fans hope a WoW sequel orsingle-player Warcraft game would be like.
Majusbeh reportedly didn’t think the effort he put into the project was worth it, but his fellow World of Warcraft fans vehemently disagreed. The comment sections of his posts were quickly flooded with awe and wonder at his work.
