An underperforming start to the season led to Thomas Tuchel losing his job in early September, despite the German tactician having led the club to Champions League glory just sixteen months prior. Like new manager Graham Potter, FIFA 23 players will need to figure out the best formation and starting eleven for Chelsea if they're to find any success with the west London side.
As much as Chelsea's new owner Todd Boehly would love for the team to play with a 4-4-3 formation, both he and FIFA 23 players will instead have to settle for one that uses ten outfield players. Thankfully, there are plenty of these to choose from, but the best setup for Chelsea in FIFA 23 is arguably the 4-3-3 Attack formation. This will allow players to dominate the center of the pitch while also causing plenty of problems for opposing full-backs out wide.
