Yesterday, Reddit user plsenjy shared a screenshot of their Wordle result from February 18th. It showed that they successfully guessed the word “DODGE” on the fifth attempt. Looking at the puzzle, the first thing that stands out is how plsenjy solved the Wordle in a very aesthetically pleasing way, with a green staircase of correct letters. Not only that, but they also guessed the word in a way that left a second “DODGE” running diagonally up the steps.
Unfortunately, Wordle doesn’t give players a bonus for getting the same word to appear twice, though it’s still impressive that someone managed to do so. Of course, Wordle players will always get the same kind of double result when their guesses take on a diagonal shape. However, it’s notable in that it would still be next to impossible to make this shape on purpose without already knowing the answer. Granted, with hundreds of thousands of people playing Wordle every day, it’s only natural that multiple people get similar results through random chance.
