Witchfire gets re-revealed with a new gameplay trailer
It’s been some years since we last heard from the Witchfire team. Developer The Astronauts impressed many with the first-person shooter and Soulslike hybrid. However, things soon when pretty quiet. Until today, when Witchfire was re-revealed during Summer Game Fest 2022 with a new gameplay trailer. The good news? It still looks excellent. The bad news? We still have no idea when the game is coming out, but it is going to enter Early Access soon on the Epic Games Store.
Witchfire looks bombastic and exciting in its new gameplay trailer. It did before, but it’s nice to have a reminder. Coming from the folks who brought us Painkiller, Witchfire looks like it’ll provide some exciting shooter action. You use guns and magic to dispatch hordes of enemies, many of which look like roaming undead soldiers or hellish knights.
