Earlier this year, the Nebraska resident Anna and Turkish native Mursel welcomed their first child together, Gokhan John, via surrogacy. Although the two have gotten a lot of congratulations and good wishes for coming so far in their journey, they have also been met with a lot of criticism for being extremely unrealistic.

Gokhan John is Mursel's first child, but Anna has three other children from a previous relationship. Some of the show's viewers believe that Anna is giving her three older children less attention, so she can prioritize her relationship with Mursel. For many 90 Day Fiancé fans, the fact that Anna was willing to keep her children a secret in order to win over a man was a red flag. Not only did Anna hide her children, but she also moved Mursel into their home without asking them first, and they didn't even meet him beforehand.
