Welcome To Plathville: Cast Members That Fans Consider Fake
Over three Welcome to Plathville seasons, the Plath family has been in the spotlight, and fans have called some of the cast out for presenting false personas. The show has followed the strict Plath parents, along with their nine children, who were all raised without any knowledge of pop culture and the outside world. While some fans think Welcome to Plathville is scripted, or at least exaggerated to boost the drama, the cast is largely open and honest about their feelings on the show. However, some fans think that the stars are putting up a front in order to entertain viewers.
On Welcome to Plathville season 1, oldest child Ethan Plath was a newlywed, and he and his wife Olivia Plath were at odds with his parents. Ethan and Olivia's relationship with Kim and Barry Plath has only worsened since the first season. In fact, Ethan was not even allowed to see his younger siblings without supervision.

The show also followed Micah and Moriah Plath's journey into life as adults, as they both learned to follow their passions (modeling and music, respectively) after leaving their childhood home. While Olivia has gotten a lot of sympathy from fans over the trio of Welcome to Plathville seasons because of how she was treated by her in-laws, many have also accused her of being fake.
