For all those people who have been wanting to shift to iPhone, perhaps the latest iPhone 13, from an Android phone, but were stopped by the fact that WhatsApp chat transfer was not possible, then here is some good news. WhatsApp users will now be able to move chats to iOS. Yes, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook has revealed that WhatsApp chat history can be transferred from Android to iOS. Informing about the same on Facebook, Zuckerberg said, "We're adding to WhatsApp the ability to securely switch between phones and transfer your chat history, photos, videos, and voice messages between Android and iPhone while maintaining end-to-end encryption. This is a top requested feature. We launched the ability to switch from iPhone-->Android last year, and now adding Android-->iPhone as well."

According to a report by WABetaInfo, before starting the process to migrate the chat history, WhatsApp users need to have at least Android 5 installed on their Android device and iOS 15.5 on their iPhone. Here is how you will be able to transfer the WhatsApp chat history between Android and iPhone, as per WABetaInfo:
Connect both of your devices to a power source. Also, connect your devices to the Wi-Fi network.
Your iPhone must be factory new or just reset it right within iPhone settings in order to use the Move to iOS app.
When you’re ready, open the Move to iOS app on your Android device and follow what the app prompts.
Enter the same code on Android that’s displayed on your iPhone, continue and select WhatsApp right within the Transfer
