It's been over a year since Sony launched its PlayStation 5 console and Microsoft launched the Xbox Series X, yet both consoles are still incredibly hard to come by. However, one of the best ways that people have been able to get their hands on one of the new consoles is by signing up for special retailer subscription programs to get first dibs on new stock ahead of bots and scalpers. The next big PS5 and Xbox Series X restock is happening very soon, with Walmart set to release its next batch of new-gen console stock to its Walmart+ subscribers at 9am PT on March 14.
As revealed by Wario64 on Twitter, the Walmart PS5 restock will include both versions of Sony's new console. This includes the $499 standard PlayStation 5 that comes with a disc drive, as well as the PS5 Digital Edition that does not. The PS5 Digital Edition is the exact-same as the standard PS5 in terms of power, but if players can live without having a disc drive, they will be able to get the console for $399, $100 cheaper than the other version.

Both the Xbox Series X and S can play new-gen exclusive games, but the Xbox Series S is not as powerful as the Series X and therefore doesn't run games at quite as high of settings.
To participate in this latest Walmart restock, one must be signed up for the Walmart+ subscription program. For the unfamiliar, Walmart+ is a subscription program that not only gives customers first dibs on new-gen console
