Vivo's is gearing up to launch its next entry-level smartphone, Y02s in August and the handset has already appeared on different certification websites ahead of its launch. The smartphone has been spotted on the official global website of Vivo, however, it was quickly taken down. The company has also leaked the key specifications, and it revealed that the handset will come with a 6.51 inch Halo FullView display and it will be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. The new device is tipped to be powered by a Mediatek Helio P35 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB memory. Check out the key specs and features here
As per the leaked specifications spotted on Vivo's website, the Vivo Y02s comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen featuring a dew-drop notch, HD+ resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The device is tipped to have a flat back panel made out of polycarbonate and flat edges with curved edges giving it a “premium look” despite being a budget-centric phone.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y02s will be powered by an old MediaTek Helio P35 chipset that comes alongside 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of Internal storage. The device will draw its power from a 5,000 mAh battery, however, it lacks fast charging and will have just 10 Watts charging support.
On the camera front, the handset will pack a 5MP selfie camera mounted on a notch and the back panel will have a dual circle design comprising a single 8MP cam and one LED flash. The back will have a special glass-like texture that will make it fingerprints and scratches free. There'll be no fingerprint sensor on the Vivo Y02s, though.
Though the price and exact launch date is yet to be revealed, Vivo Y02s will be arriving in Black and Blue colors.
