Indie hit Vampire Survivors is coming to Xbox consoles this month, it’s been revealed.
The popular bullet hell action game will be released for Xbox on November 10 and will be priced at $4.99.
However, the Xbox version of the game will also be made available on Xbox Game Pass on the same day.
The new Xbox port will join the PC version, which was already added to Game Pass last month.
The roeguelike shoot ’em up was originally released in early access in December 2021, and finally got a full release on October 20, 2022, at which point it was made available for Game Pass on PC.
The game has players choosing one of numerous characters, who then automatically attack as the player fights through waves of monsters with the aim being to survive for as long as possible.
The game cost developer Luca Galanta around £1,100 to make, and the initial response was so large that he was able to quit his job in February 2022 to work full-time on the project.
According to SteamDB, the PC version hit a peak of 77,000 concurrent players and reviews have also been overwhelmingly high – 98.8% of its user reviews on Steam are positive, and it currently has a Metacritic score of 87.
The Xbox version of Vampire Survivors will be one of 10 games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the next fortnight.
It will join the likes of Pentiment, Football Manager 2023, Somerville and Return to Monkey Island.
