While we read that the iPhone 15 lineup will arrive with periscopic camera lenses , a recent report from Forbes has given a little more insight on the build quality of the upcoming iPhone series. As per the report, the most expensive smartphone of the next iPhone series' - iPhone 15 Ultra - is likely to arrive with a lighter and tougher build quality. Apple is speculated to bring iPhone 15 Ultra with a titanium chassis along with an eye-catching design.
As of now, Apple has been using stainless steel exclusively on its premium smartphones since the 2017 iPhone X. However, the popular leaker LeaksApplePro claims that the iPhone 15 Ultra will have a titanium chassis. The handsets will be far stronger and lighter than the stainless steel oness. And this may also affect its cost as it will be pricier because titanium costs $35-50 per kilogram, compared to $1-1.50 per kilogram for stainless steel. As shared by Forbes, “titanium's strength-to-weight ratio is on another level to stainless steel, providing almost the same strength at 40% of its weight.” The
