Ubisoft has confirmed that its Ubisoft+ subscription service is coming to PlayStation, with a Ubisoft+ Classics range coming to PlayStation Plus.
Ubisoft+ is a paid subscription service which gives players access to over 100 games, including new games on day one and DLC, for $14.99 / £12.99 / €14.99 per month.
Ubisoft has already confirmed that the full subscription version of Ubisoft+ is coming to Xbox, and now it’s confirmed for PlayStation too.
However, the publisher will also be adding a number of older titles to the new PlayStation Plus’s Extra and Premium tiers, in a new selection called Ubisoft+ Classics, it announced on Monday.
There will be 27 Ubisoft+ Classics games available on PlayStation Plus when the new service launches, it said, and Ubisoft expects this to reach 50 by the end of the year.

Ubisoft said back in January that the Ubisoft+ subscription service “will be coming to Xbox in the future”, but it has yet to announce a release date, or a Ubisoft+ Classics equivalent for Xbox Game Pass.
On Monday Sony confirmed a partial list of games that will be made available as part of its revamped PlayStation Plus subscription service, which is due to launch in Asia next week.
PS Plus’s new Extra and Premium tiers will include a library of PS4 and PS5 games that will include Demon’s Souls, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, NBA 2K22 and more, Sony said on Monday.
In addition, the platform holder confirmed some of the classic games coming to its Premium tier. First-party titles include Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf and Syphon Filter, and third-party games include Mr. Driller and Tekken 2.
