There are even rumors that some streamers like Amouranth get banned on purpose for the attention it draws to their channel, a theory which she denies. Often, the exact reason a content creator receives a ban from Twitch is not clarified by the platform, leaving viewers and even the streamer uncertain of the cause. Of course, content creators may be given reasons that they simply choose to not reveal to their audience.
Berry0314 is a Korean streamer and professional dancer, who is primarily known for dancing onscreen in a suggestive manner while wearing tight or minimal clothing. Although her streams tend to fit into the Just Chatting category on Twitch, Berry has been known to occasionally play games on her channel as well. Since starting her channel in September 2020, Berry has amassed a following of nearly half a million viewers on Twitch and 135,000 on Instagram.

On February 4, Berry livestreamed on Twitch and performed a dance wearing a sports bra and leggings, and at one point the content creator pulled out a pair of handcuffs as a prop. Only a few hours later, the content creator received an indefinite ban from Twitch with no explanation given other than the message that appears on her now empty channel page that states, “This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
