The upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will feature the voice cast of the classic 80s TMNT cartoon reprising their roles. This retro-style 2D brawler was announced by developer Tribute Games last March with a nostalgia-fueled TMNT Shredder’s Revenge reveal trailer that looked to capture the cheesy and colorful charm of the old side-scrollers from the Turtles’ SNES-era heyday.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will feature the crime-fighting siblings working to thwart the evil Shredder’s most diabolical plan yet. Players will battle their way through several classic TMNT locations with a mix of old-school beat-em-up attacks and brand-new team-up moves. Previous promotional materials for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have reflected the developer's desire to recreate the look and feel of an old-fashioned Ninja Turtles game, from a remixed version of the classic 1987 cartoon theme being played in the Shredder’s Revenge reveal trailer to many classic characters appearing as enemies and bosses. Additionally, April O’Neal and Master Splinter were later confirmed as playable heroes in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge with their own unique fighting skills and combo moves with the brothers.
