Earlier this year, Swedish bike manufacturer Cake unveiled a new off-grid electric motorbike called Osa. And on the first glance, you’d be forgiven for being shocked over how it looks. Unlike most e-bikes, Cake Osa does not come with a smooth design and ergonomic form factor. In fact, to many, it may look like a skeleton of an e-bike. With no leg guards, headlight visor and a lot of weird moving parts, it does intimidate you. But according to the manufacturers, who specifically designed it for customizability and off-roading experience, it offers what is most essential in a e-bike – pragmatism. The Cake Osa e-bike comes in various models including Osa Lite, Osa Flex, Osa Plus. The bikes are completely street legal, which means you can use it for daily life purposes as well. With 14-inch wheels with dual sport motorcycle tyres which allows it to handle both city roads as well as dirt roads with equal grit and enthusiasm. The wheels are accompanied with equally robust suspensions as well. The electric motorbike is equipped with a 50.4Ah lithium battery that can be removed from the frame and charged separately from the bike.
