The Wolf Among Us 2 is a long-awaited sequel to one of Telltale’s more unique games. With a new trailer having been released, it is shown to follow the same storytelling style as the original Wolf Among Us. Film noir aesthetics and a corrupt New York in the 1980s will all return, pleasing fans who are familiar with the popular Telltale Games' style. To top it off, being an adaptation of the Fables comics, The Wolf Among Us 2 is guaranteed to take characters from fairy tales, public domain literature, myths, and nursery rhymes to create its grim plot.
Both Fables and The Wolf Among Us have used almost every famous character that could be classified as a “Fable." With a few exceptions, such as Bigby and Snow White, The Wolf Among Us aims to give bigger roles to otherwise minor characters, or introduce characters to the Fables universe and integrate them into Fabletown. With the new trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2 showing Bigby fighting The Wizard of Oz’s Scarecrow and Tin Man, one can assume that the upcoming sequel will try to bring more formerly unrepresented Fables into the mix.

While some well-known fairy tale characters have yet to be shown in the Fables universe, The Wolf Among Us 2 could still take minor characters in the comics and flesh them out.
