In The PlanetCrafter, terraformers will need to find Osmium to craft important items from the mid-game onward. The Planet Crafter is an open-world survival game that tasks players with terraforming an otherwise inhospitable planet, creating a new home for human life. The planet is void of anything life-threatening to players other than the potential for running out of food, water, and oxygen. By finding Osmium more easily, players can craft new items that will aid them in their quest to form a new home.
One of the most important items that Osmium is used for is crafting an Ore Extractor from blueprints, which is essential for gathering as much ore as possible. The Ore Extractor will continuously mine ore overtime automatically, depending on where the device has been placed in The Planet Crafter. Ore Extractors can harvest a number of resources from the planet, and an Ore Extractor T2 can even harvest Osmium.

Unfortunately, these areas are limited while The Planet Crafter is in early access mode, but the coordinates for location are universal across all modes and games. Each time players reset and start a new game over they can expect to find the mining locations to be in the same place that they were in the previous save file. Regardless, Osmium won't be a material that players can find immediately, but it's important to know the locations when the time is right.
These are the coordinates for places where Osmium can be found, and where it can be mined with an Ore Extractor T2:
