Airtel went down earlier today for a few hours and it took most of India by storm. Airtel’s mobile network was unavailable and so was its broadband service. There were even reports f the Airtel app and its customer service going offline. Airtel later acknowledged on a social media post about the country-wide outage and confirmed that it had fixed the glitch that caused the issue. The network is back up and running like normal.
