@RogerRoger No worries! I mean, I'm following a guide for the release order of the movies and they presented Zack Snyder's Justice League as a separate entry, so I thought it was a new movie. It even says in the guide that the 2017 version is the canon movie while the 2021 version is non-canon, so I thought they were two different movies. The guide did recommend to watch 2017 first and 2021 later on, so I might just do that!
@LtSarge It's a fascinating comparative case study, for sure. Provided you've got the time for both, then that'd be real cool to see what you make of it, especially since you enjoyed the first release so much. It's the same way I approached 'em. I really liked Justice League for what it was, but also really enjoyed Zack Snyder's Justice League, albeit for slightly different reasons. Just be prepared for some familiarity!
watching With Honors on Tubi right now.
First time watching With Honors by the way. always wanted to watch the movie back then when it was in theaters and then released for VHS but wasnt a fan of Pesci at the time..
Despite getting The Raid 2 on blu-ray absolutely ages ago I only just watched it because both are on Netflix (I'm such a lazy viewer now). The action scenes in these films are amazing, I really don't know how they made those films without a ton of stuntmen in hospital. Impressive stuff.
I also rewatched True Grit(2010), I forgot how well made that film is. The cast is excellent.
I'm trying to make an effort to watch things I haven't seen and have put in watchlists instead of rewatching lots of things I've seen before.
@BearsEatBeets The Coen's «True Grit» is one of those elusive remakes that are much better than the original.
@LN78 I've not seen the original to compare
