Fans of the upcoming survival horror game The Callisto Protocol don't have much longer to wait until they fight for their survival in the cold Black Iron Prison. After debuting new footage at Gamescom Opening Night Live, more information has come out in regard to what fans can expect from pre-ordering the title's Collector's Edition.
For the release of the Collector's Edition, The Callisto Protocol is partnering with GameStop in the US to give gamers a unique blend of content inspired by the horror title. It will cost a total of $249.99 on next-generation consoles versus $239.99 on last generation consoles, headlined by a statue of in-game protagonist Jacob Lee fighting off a mutated monstrosity.

Alongside the statue, there are a few extra physical goodies such as a comic book, a physical copy of The Callisto Protocol, as opposed to a digital approach like God of War Ragnarok, a steelbook, and a few collectible pins inspired by the game. As for the game itself, players will get access to a variety of in-game content such as the Retro Prisoner weapon and character skin pack as well as access to the Season Pass. It's important to note that there is no PC option for the Collector's Edition, and there is a noticeable difference between pre-ordering on PlayStation as opposed to pre-ordering on Xbox.
Players who pre-order on PlayStation players get access to an «Exclusive Contraband Pack» although the contents of said pack are to still be discovered.
