The cemetery on Baden Island, along with its flashback scene, contains some of the most ponderous puzzles in Syberia: The World Before. While a little patience and some trial-and-error can go a long way, this is also where you can get the Cartographer accolade, which can be easy to miss.

The game provides a map that you can reference at any time, but changes to the cemetery in the years since the map was made mean that the best-looking path may not be the one you need. This guide will get you in and out of the cemetery without any trouble.
After disembarking the tram and speaking with Colonel Blake, follow the path until you reach the cemetery. Look at the sign on the left after entering to learn the layout of the place. While observing the sign, place Oscar on the lower-left corner of the map to have him assist Kate in navigating.
The entrance is located at the bottom center of the map, but many of the paths shown in the diagram are blocked (indicated by a red line on our map). Use either of the blue paths in the image above to reach Grave O-8. Before or after the interlude triggered at the grave, inspect every blocked path and every starred point of interest to unlock the Cartographer accolade.
After Kate's conversation with Colonel Blake in the cemetery, gameplay shifts to Dana in 1944. Her job is to use information from resistance cells across Europe to note the location of Axis troops on the map.
Read the letters on the left to get the clues you need and place markers for submarines, tanks, and SAM batteries accordingly. Reference the image above to determine the correct locations and equipment.
