Steam’s Winter Sale is now live, with ‘discounts on thousands of games’
Steam’s Winter Sale 2022 is now live.
Running until January 5, 2023, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, the promotion includes discounts on thousands of games, according to Valve.
Featured discounts include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for £50.99 (15% off), God of War for £23.99 (40% off) and Rust for £23.44 (33% off).
Others include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for £4.19 (88% off), The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for £6.99 (80% off). Vampire Survivors for £3.19 (20% off), Left 4 Dead Bundle for £1.28 (92% off), Doom Franchise Bundle for £23.54 (75% off) and Valve Complete Pack for £5.33 (96% off).
Valve recently confirmed that beginning in 2023, Steam’s Lunar New Year Sale will be replaced with the Spring Sale as one of its four major seasonal sales. Next year’s Spring Sale will run from March 16-23.
The Epic Games Store is also currently running its annual holiday sale, featuring discounts of up to 75% until January 5.
In addition to these discounts, Epic is offering a further 25% off full game purchases of $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99 or above during the sale.
The 25% discount will automatically be applied to every shopping basket that contains one or more eligible games. It won’t work on pre-purchases, game add-ons like DLC or season passes, or in-game currencies.
The Epic Games Store is also giving away a free game every day until December 29. Fallout Classic Collection is currently free to claim until 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm GMT on December 23, when it will reportedly be replaced with Encased.
